solid dude. this animation reminds me of everything from rusty spoons to sparklehorse. id love to hear a soundtrack, something subtle. but your characters are solid and now youve got me interested in seeing other work you have. keep on keepin on. also, i had the same problem with the beginning of mind-the weird gray pixely stuff. so dont feel alone.
For your first time using flash (I think you mentioned) it's really impressive. I really like the subtle movements of the limbs of everything, even the caterpillar legs. I hope you keep it up and animate the whole story.
This is sooooo cooooollll!! How did you get this to be so smooth? I wish you could continue the story it would be a little more interesting if it had more of a background. Nothing too complicated. Something like that branch you had with the insect. This is very creative :). Good job
Thanks guys. I'm definitely going to continue with the animation. I actually had a great time on this project. The framerate was 30fps, which was primarily responsible for the smoothness. The backgrounds are coming, as well as some kind of score...
I am very impressed with yours. The fact that you actually just changed everything in photoshop then brought it over in flash (which is the program I wished we had with this assignment) is nice! Once you get the hang of flash, things will start being really easy and less time consuming. Can't wait for the full story.
